Freedom Fibres

So my pals have just set up their own online shop filled with fabulous, funky handmade jewellery, and they kindly let me pick a piece to share with you all on the blog.
I couldn't resist snapping up this adorable little flower band- it adds a super cute touch to a simple bun, but can also be worn as a bracelet and an anklet...The perfect festival accessory! Now that Ireland has returned to it's rainy self this baby is keeping a little sunshine in my life haha. I've been wearing it non-stop to add a hint of girly glamour to my hair on those days when I'm too lazy to do anything but throw it up in a bun!

You can snatch this up (amongst lots of other gorg headbands, rings and collars) for just €4 from the girls' Etsy shop, Freedom Fibres if you fancy adding a summery touch to your outfit :)

OOTD- Backless Beauty

Top- Urban Outfitters
Skirt- H&M
Sandals- River Island
Sunglasses- Marc By Marc Jacobs
I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's nothing like a good backless top/dress! This Urban Outfitters top is without a doubt my most worn item of clothing. It's one of those pieces I wish I'd bought in every colour and pattern- it just seems to look great with everything! It's a super flattering length and the way it drapes at the back is just beeeautiful.
I got this neon yellow skirt in on sale in H&M for just €7, and I'm finding myself wearing it all the time at the moment. It's the perfect little skirt for this fabulous weather we're having right now :) But be warned, you'll need your nude undies for this one as it is a tad see through!
I''m absolutely thrilled with my new sandals from River Island. I nabbed them for €30 on sale, which I think is a great price! I adore the gold hardware on them, I feel like it makes them more expensive looking. However, my favourite thing about these has to be the little wooden platform. I don't own any other sandals because their thin soles are extremely uncomfortable for me and I find my feet are way too flat on the ground. But the added height on these little beauties means they're just perfect for me and I can comfortably wear them to my hearts content. Thank you River Island :)

My hair isn't something I discuss very often on the blog, but I just thought I'd mention it today. I'm loving these beachy waves that I got from putting my wet hair into two french plaits and leaving them overnight. It's such a simple way to achieve nice waves, with barely any effort involved! I'm definitely going to be styling my hair like this a lot over the summer, that's for sure.
Oh, and I couldn't resist putting in a little snap of Coco enjoying the sun. I think he had a little too much fun rolling around in the grass! What a cutie :)

Shoe Heaven

It's official, I have died and gone to shoe heaven. There really is no greater satisfaction than coming home with a killer pair of heels, and I am so excited about my new Kurt Geiger beauties that I just had to share them on the blog!

I've been on the hunt for a pair of statement heels for my brother's wedding, and these bad boys certainly fit the bill. I got them on sale in Arnotts, where they were reduced from €155 to €69. For a statement pair of shoes with so many details, I thought they were an absolute bargain! I'd highly recommend having a peek at Arnotts Shoe Garden- even though we're well into sale season, they still have heaps of fantastic discounts on gorgeous designer shoes...I swear, it's like a dream.
Although green isn't a colour I wear all that often, I just couldn't resist adding this pop of neon into my wardrobe. Plus, it's a refreshing change from the usual neon pinks and yellows that have taken over the high street. I'm usually quite wary of shoes with ankle straps as I find they can be unflattering on the legs at times, but these heels are actually very slimming and give me nice slender-looking ankles. Hooray!
The shoes are super high, but the giant platform means they're not too difficult to walk in. Infact, my only real problem with these shoes is that I'm not sure I have the will power to hold off from wearing them until August haha. What a pickle!
